Filmed and edited April 15, 2018 by Anthony Garcia Note from Tony Gapastione: Creative Crew is a monthly meet-up of encouragement and collaboration for artists of all kinds. I started this meet-up as an attempt to ignite my own inspiration, launch my own creative projects, and find a crew of collaborators. (I'm an actor, writer, and director). I invited any and every artist I knew (from all over the Bay Area), to discuss, dream, and share our work. And it has evolved into a dynamic community where we learn, affirm each other, and grow. And we've been meeting monthly, in various locations since September 2012. This crew is for filmmakers, actors, poets, writers, painters, sculptors, photographers, dancers, musicians, designers, dreamers, friends of artists, and more. We meet in Redwood City, California, monthly on the third Sunday night. Dates our on our home page.7pm-830pm. We start and end on time! WE MEET AT CYCLISMO CAFE 871 MIDDLEFIELD RD. REDWOOD CITY CA, 94061. Great food and drinks available for purchase! (Come early and find good parking at 830 Jefferson Ave or the Box garage at the corner of Middlefield and Winslow) I hope you'll shuttle on over, join our orbit, and rocket your creativity to new heights. (Had to say that). Questions? Want more info? Find me on social media or find me on social media @TonyGapastione

What is CREATIVE CREW (Redwood City)? I started these creative meet-ups for a few reasons. I wanted to encourage Bay Area artists of all kinds to create! There are so many talented artists with amazing ideas waiting around hoping someone else will call them, book them, commission them, etc. I want to ignite the artistic community to see their dreams fulfilled by taking the initiative to collaborate with others. I also wanted to create a space of encouragement. There is so much rejection and criticism in our industry. I wanted a protected time and place where artists could depend on encouraging and constructive feedback from peers who understand that need. I’m glad you decided to join us tonight. I hope you will continue with us each month, get inspired and encouraged, spread the word, and make new connections for future projects. -Tony Gapastione (Filmmaker, Sag-Aftra Actor Creative Crew meets monthly, on the 3rd Sunday 7:15pm.
